[8:42:07 AM] Vik: lol. seriously we can learn something from her. ask for what you want.
[8:45:54 AM] James: Ask and ye shall receive!  Somewhat related is the old “assume the sale” technique I was taught when selling books door to door during college.  I didn’t do very well but it is nice to look back on.  Anyway, they told us to say – I will be in the neighborhood next week making deliveries so would you like your books delivered on Tues or Wed?  This is without them ever having to say the “yes” word.
[8:46:44 AM] Vik: well she’s even better than that.
[8:47:26 AM] James: Yeah well you have love and emotion involved.  I was just a door to door salesman.
[8:48:24 AM] Vik: i’m sitting at my desk and she just lets out one meow and I know she wants food and I also know (she’s trained me) that if she doesn’t get it immediately she will sit on you and purr and literally put her head under the hands on my keyboard so I can’t work until I feed her.  Now I know that as soon as I hear her footsteps I better get up.
